I've been in Dallas for the last few days at the Food EXPO. My small company works with the state of Texas providing online food handler training so we're here sharing information. I'd post a picture of me in our booth...BUT...I think the picture we took makes me look 10 pounds heavier and 10 years older so I'd rather stick with the distorted positive image I have of myself.
There are 'stars' at such a show...such as Elsie the Cow. There is also LOTS of food. My weakness, of course, is the Gelato. It's awfully hard to walk by free Gelato without having my favorite...the hazelnut...again...and again.
This was the view out the window of my hotel room. I like downtown areas of cities. I especially like the skylines which combine the new and the old architecture.
I miss home, especially during the summer when I really want to be enjoying every day I can there. But this has been a successful trip. I go home tomorrow!
